Murky Blues 03:04
there is nothing down inside your basement there is nothing down deep in your chest just light reflecting off of the fragments of my dear friend that I once knew best once lying parallel to the roof of your car early morning rain falling from a far murky words poured out from your mouth like a leak as I watched your brains ooze out from your cheeks I was longing for someone that didn't exist yet we sank inside your supple sickly fever we sank inside your sincerest fears engrossed by the beauty of the river the sound of leaves was all we could hear once lying parallel to the blanket of stars piercing through our eyeballs, light travels from a far murky words poured out from your mouth like a leak as I watched your brains ooze out from your cheeks I was longing for someone that didn't exist yet if I could have pushed my fist through the fabric if I could have torn through time and space pull you like a rabbit from a hat trick I'd forever wrap myself in your embrace once lying parallel to the roof of your car early morning rain falling from a far once lying parallel to the blanket of stars piercing through our eyeballs, light travels from a far murky words poured out from your mouth like a leak as I watched your brains ooze out from your cheeks I was longing for someone that didn't exist yet

Come Rest 03:03
come rest your heavy head, come lay come lay your hectic mind there is no burden too heavy your voice i hope to find engines incite the sun to come ending of arms that bind leaving the fog is cumbersome a heavy heart is blind come rest your heavy head, come lay come lay your tired mind there is no burden too heavy your voice i hope to find waywise and weathered I reached out under the sky I pined the weighty clouds came down to me pounding 'til my heart chimed come rest your heavy head, come lay come lay your weary mind there is no burden too heavy your voice i hope to find the notes turned to the distance skies floated away from time they once healed many a sigh meandering so kind the warmth transcends our tragedy our worlds begin to rhyme and wanting more than pageantry our errant hearts entwine come rest your heavy head, come lay come lay your hectic mind there is no burden too heavy your voice i hope to find

Big & Small 05:50
I'm an engineer, you're a pioneer we've come very far, but we're nowhere near are these sidewalks and trees just happenstance or are we only as what we appear? this is a piece of cake, but not the whole pie this mess the truth, is an untidy lie are these words and glances just happenstance or are we only left with how we appear this is big this is small, this is nothing at all so important, so trivial, or so I recall in it to win it, but I'm not ready to fall on the edge at the junction, but the bridge is too tall the bridge is too tall you are alone, so am I, let's combine our time let's make food, let's drink wine, or go out to dine if you're stressed I will ease your tired mind I don't mind, I don't mind, I have all the time this is big this is small, this is nothing at all so important, so trivial, or so I recall in it to win it, but I'm not ready to fall on the edge at the junction, but the bridge is too tall the bridge is too tall we will live in a house where others have lived to this world our children we will give they'll bury us in the ground where other people did this is big this is small, so important so trivial big to us, but not to all, I think I'm ready to fall

Troubled Boy 04:53
the path is open the sights unseen hearts are ready for this two-way dream with bated breath, forever it seems teeming down I fall into your lean meandering my brain can't stay still people chatters and they speak with ill will they dig ditches, their ears are landfills overflowing I don't want the spill troubled boy with your bumbling fingers sing to me, your soft mumbling lingers come to lay with me, my earl grey bringer come sing to me, my private singer troubled boy would you come play your keys they hit so hard that they pierce through me I need to see everything you see let's go hear the whurl' let's hear the sea

I've painted a picture, with many a stroke I listened softly when you leaned and spoke the sound unbound in my ear echoed in my heart your face so clear in my mind, clung to my heart I've waited so long, did you know I was waiting for you I didn't even know, that you were the one I was waiting to get to know, please don't go my days are filled with murmurs, planes and the like sounds blend, feet bend, I'm propelled forth by my bike my memories fade but my love will never wane over the ocean I want to soothe your pain I've waited so long, did you know I was waiting for you I didn't even know, that you were the one I was waiting to get to know, please don't go I recall the words the dark doppelgänger said, "illusions of your past love will drown your new love dead" the skyline began to rise, the city expanded rapidly I've painted a picture, with many a stroke each color a thought dream of when my heart broke your love unbound in my heart can heal my soul my lives unwound in your hands please sew them whole I've waited so long, did you know I was waiting for you I didn't even know, that you were the one I was waiting to get to know, please don't go

The Hangman 02:12
Written by: Matt Berry I couldn't sleep at nights then Awoken by the faces of a thousand dead men What kind of beast kills for pay? I knew I'd go to hell on Judgement Day But why should I be so sad? The hours are good And the money's not bad I think of all the jobs I could've gone into Sweeping up parts Driving trains to Waterloo I could've been a painter, or the world's greatest wit I could've been a sailor, but the hat didn't fit I'm a hangman Take my hand, come with me... It's okay, you'll be free... Free as a bird now wouldn't have a job cause i don't have the know how count me out of your rat race deal with this at a leisurely pace so why do you shed a tear, come on take my hand you got nothing to fear I think of all the jobs I could've gone into Sweeping up parts Driving trains to Waterloo I could've been a painter, or the world's greatest wit I could've been a sailor, but the hat didn't fit I'm a hangman Take my hand, come with me... It's okay, you'll be free...

Dusk 03:01
the last light of the day slowly sneaks out and the night creeps in beneath me I watch as the porch lights all come about and become a vast burning sea thoughts drift back to you and where we had been earlier that day in the sunshine afraid of your gaze, I knew it all too well I looked through the leaves toward the street signs the silence is humming as I'm slowly strumming while in my head I work things through the distant train rumbles my brain stumbles I've done nothing wrong according to you the light again through my window starts to fade and my old friend the night rejoins me It'll work out in the end but whose to say somewhere under the sky we will be
